For my readers who are attorneys or veterans: I will be one of several presenters at the CLE “From the Battlefield to Business: Helping Veterans Navigate Business Formation and Management.” The CLE will be on Thursday, April 28, from 3:00-5:00pm in the Moot Court Room at Hamline University School of Law.
As a veteran, I’m proud to have an opportunity to assist veterans succeed in the civilian business world. I will be speaking on the basics of starting a business and issues to address when there are multiple owners of a business. The tentative list of speakers includes Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and representatives from the Small Business Administration and Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC). John Baker of Baker Williams, LLP will discuss obtaining certification as a veteran-owned business. This CLE is geared towards attorneys, veterans, service members, and businesspeople who wish to learn about the benefits of veteran-owned businesses
Cost – $25, 2 standard CLE credits have been applied for.
